Camden! Famous for its market where the city's hippies go to eat, drink, dance and shop. Little factoid here: The very first food stall was opened at Camden in 1974, by former Olympic sprinter June Foulds. She named her shop simply "The Stall", but from these very humble beginnings a whole maze of stalls has sprung. But with all those cool people with beards, berets, and baguettes it's hard to stand out in the crowd without losing your street cred. Enter the Camden Tan Chelsea boot with its classic Chelsea pattern, elastic gusset and leather pull tab.
These boots are made on our exclusive 061 last. A well fitted but comfortable last with a stylish silhouette.
We only use the finest eco-friendly, vegetable tanned, "A" grade leathers - sourced from the best tanneries - in order to produce high quality and durable shoes. This particular one is a premium buff calfskin leather, which has been primed to accept the unique colouration applied by our master craftsman. 100% chromium free.
The beautifully detailed finish of this shoe is achieved by hand tamponation. This is a process passed down from one generation of highly skilled technicians to the next. Coloured creams are applied by a small sponge and brushed to all parts of the shoe's upper. In some areas, a little more colour is added to create a highlight. The colour is then spread more evenly by an ironing process. After drying, this process is then repeated, before the shoe is buffed: first by a finishing cloth, to evenly spread the colour, then sealed by wax on a natural wool buffing wheel. This process means we are not limited by colour selection and freedom to create unique finishes - allowing us to offer our customer an exclusive and unique product.
We combine a soft calfskin leather lining with a printed cotton skeleton for comfort and breath ability. The sock and collar are not only luxurious, but they improve comfort and give the shoe strength and support in the key areas.
This shoe utilises a TPR (thermoplastic rubber) sole for greater durability, flexibility, comfort and grip. Along with hard-wearing properties, the sole features the trademark Goodwin Smith detailing - because style and substance can coexist.
In order to offer the best shoe possible, we ensure that only the best sections of leather hide are used in production. To achieve this, the leather selection and cutting processes are done by hand. While this is much more laborious than using moulds or lasers, we are able to avoid cuts, looseness or other unwanted imperfections on the finished article.
Every shoe in our collection is linked by consistent detailing, synonymous with Goodwin Smith. From the use of a navy blue highlight detail on the heel tap or collar, to our famous stag logo embossed to the heel, the devil is in the detail. The full logo is gold foil, and can be found printed to the sock, debossed into the soles, leather waist, and even rubber sole tread. Any shoes with a brogue toe cap carries stylised GS initials within the exquisite punching. Because it's the little things that matter.

Fantastic value and very stylish. Have deducted one star because they did rub my heels slightly from new, had to break them in, but that may only apply to me. Good quality, highly recommend.
