Men's Oxford Shoes

Contrary to its name, the Oxford shoe originated in Scotland and was known as Balmoral before taking its current name after the famed English university where they were a uniform staple for all Oxford men. Due to the dictates of fashion and the unpredictable popularity of men’s Oxford shoes, the style has seen significant change over the years – perhaps more so than any other shoe style. Originally a simple formal leather shoe which replaced the traditional ankle boots students had worn for many years during study, nowadays men’s Oxford shoes come in a range of materials, colours and finishes. They are versatile and ironically (given they were born out of uniform) unique. Shop our wide range of Oxford shoes today; degree not included.
