WORDS BY SIMON E. SMITH

It's fair to say that we've given you boys a lot when it comes to presenting yourself to the opposite sex. From what to wear to the skills all real gents know. But sometimes it’s better to know women's turn-offs than just their turn-ons.

We asked the ladies at GSHQ to learn what they don't want to see their guy, or any guy, doing. There were thousands, but we shaved it down to the top five.

THINKING SEX IS OVER AFTER YOU'VE FINISHED

Worse still would be to shout, "pop shot done...that's a wrap!" Your sex life isn't a pornstar clip and so behaving like you've fulfilled your contractual obligations isn't a good move. Women don't want to feel sex has ended because of your need to sleep or "mop up."

YOU'RE A C**K TO ANYONE SERVING YOU

Being rude is the height of bad manners, but being rude to a person waiting on you takes rudeness off the scale. This is true for both genders obviously. Yet a woman is always watching closely as to how you treat others as she may be the recipient of appalling behaviour further down the line. "I'd like to make a complaint...about you."

CHILL OUT, THEY'RE ONLY JOKING

If your friends often begin sentences with, "I'm not a racist but..." then you might want to invest in some new ones. There's no excuse for casual insults against people of colour, women or those from the LGBTQIA community. Keeping quiet in front of your inappropriate pals but then telling her to "chill out" in private demonstrates you have no balls. You're ball-less.

YOU FLIP OUT WHEN SHE CHECKS OUT ANOTHER GUY

You're not being protective or cute, you're being possessive and that's just odd. Jealously ranks up there with rudeness, especially early on in the relationship. A woman feels pressure when you pull her up on where she can and can't look. Best not to come across like an irritable toddler and man up. Be honest. You stare too.

YOU WEAR BAD SHOES

Women are now getting botox in their feet to deal with heel pain during the Christmas party season. It's a trend that's been growing over the last two years. If they're willing to do that then the very least you can do is wear something decent on your feet. Consider this: women judge men’s shoes twice as much as men judge women’s.
